    Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you order 3D printed parts from Rigid Prints.

    Last updated: 15 May 2026

    1. About us

Rigid Prints (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides on-demand FDM 3D printing services to customers in the United Kingdom and internationally. By placing an order with us you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

    2. Quotes and orders

Quotes generated through our instant quote tool are valid for the period shown at checkout (typically 14 days). Prices are based on the geometry, material, colour, finish and lead time you select. We reserve the right to re-quote or decline an order if the file cannot be printed safely, infringes third-party rights, or requires manual intervention beyond what the automated quote covers.

A binding contract is formed when we accept your order in writing (typically the order confirmation email).

    3. Payment

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We may authorise your card at checkout and capture funds once we have reviewed and accepted your job. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Receipts are issued by email.

    4. Lead times, dispatch and shipping

Estimated dispatch dates shown at checkout are indicative and start from the point we accept your order. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our reasonable control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided.

    5. Inspection and acceptance

Please inspect parts on receipt and notify us of any defect within 14 days. We will reprint or refund any part that does not match the geometry of the file you uploaded or the material specification you ordered.

    6. Cancellations and returns (consumers)

Because parts are made to your specification, the standard 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once production has started. You may cancel free of charge before we begin printing — contact us as soon as possible.

    7. Limitation of liability

Parts are produced to the specification you provide. We do not certify parts for safety-critical, medical, aerospace or load-bearing structural applications unless explicitly agreed in writing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

    8. Intellectual property

You confirm that you own or have permission to print the files you upload. Our handling of those files is described in our File & IP Policy.

    9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
