File & IP Policy
How we handle the 3D model files you upload, and the IP rules we ask you to follow.
Last updated: 15 May 2026
Your files stay yours
You retain all intellectual property rights in the files you upload. We do not share, resell, sublicense or reuse your models. They are used solely to quote and produce your order.
Storage and access
Files are stored privately in our cloud storage with access restricted to the production engineers fulfilling your order and to automated systems that generate quotes and toolpaths. Transfers are encrypted in transit (TLS) and files are encrypted at rest.
Auto-deletion
Uploaded model files are automatically purged a configurable number of days after your order is delivered (default 90 days). Order metadata (filename, dimensions, material, price) is kept for accounting purposes as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party rights
By uploading a file you confirm that you own it, hold a licence to print it, or that it is in the public domain. We reserve the right to refuse any job that appears to infringe a third party’s copyright, trade mark, design right or patent.
Restricted parts
We will not print parts that are illegal under UK law, including (but not limited to) firearms or firearm components, currency, items designed to facilitate crime, or parts that breach export controls.
Takedown requests
If you believe a job we are producing infringes your IP, contact us via the contact page with proof of ownership. We will pause the job while we investigate.
